The ambush strategy allows the artist to avail himself of the vision of
others
For the artist at the end of the millennium, with his freedom of movement, to lie in ambush means taking up a position which forces him to confront a profound responsibility: to maintain a voice without necessarily evoking, to present a mood and avoiding its representation, to speak while remaining silent, to cross without being caught.
