At the end of this
millenium, the collective unconscious has started circulating on the Net,
where the collective, or better said the connective Mind travels, dispersed
throughout pluridimensional hyperspaces.
The mind is then lost in its displacements through the spaces of abstraction,
and the Eros itself becomes abstract because the body is unable to go as far
as where the mind can reach.
In that way love becomes exiled from the body. The theory of special relativity,
on the other hand, forsees that an increase in speed of a system implies a
contraction of distances and a dilatation of intervals.
Lets relocate this image, metaphorically, on the existential level :
we are immersed in narrower spaces of coexistence and dilated intervals of
co-presence .The space we live in contracts and the intervals dilate.
The presence of others smothers us. Lost amidst this pressing, compact and
in-sistent crowd, even if, on the one hand, intrusion makes each of us anonymous
and alien, it also intensifies the tension towards encounters, with the illusion
of being authentically confronted by presence.
If we call love this tension of authentically meeting others whom, the closer
they are, we feel to be always more distant, its meaning cannot be rediscovered
in an instinct towards, but instead in the increase of a desire that must
find the way towards its satisfaction.
A way not indicated by codified, ritualized communication channels, therefore
in a sense impracticable, entirely to be invented. Chosen aggregation might
be an attempt towards achieving the project of this research. Subjective worlds,
on intersecting, create micro-worlds with their own structural configuration,
and the interaction between micro-worlds constitutes the dynamics of the World.
Inter-subjectivity, as the soul of the World, is articulated in a collective
vision, and therefore can express the complexity of contemporary artistic
expression.
The language through which creative communication is brought about can only
be the language of the love that, if it is capable of producing resonance,
allows, by harmonizing it, communication itself, within the social body through
which it flows, to become a collective work. But for the dialogue to
become song, the collaboration of the entire choir within the choreography
of communication is required.
Any combination whatsoever of musical notes or dissonant sounds can be inserted
in a melodic (and/or harmonic) context, put together so as to be expressively
pleasant and musically expressive. In this sense the aesthetic sensibility
of the group is viewed as the aptitude to enter in resonance, and art as the
aesthetics of putting oneself in communication in order to encounter.Being
sensitive as con-senting.
